PART-TIME TAX PROCESSOR | ERCPA announces a part-time position for a Tax Processor in our Republic, MO location. The Tax Processor is a professional responsible for assembling individual and corporate tax returns to meet client needs and deadlines with the utmost confidentiality. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT | ERCPA is announcing an opportunity for a full-time, licensed CPA in our Springfield office. Candidates for this position should have 3-5 years of public accounting experience in any of the following areas:

  • Individual/Corporate Tax Preparation
  • Financial Statements
  • Trust & Estate Tax
  • Financial, Governmental or 401k Auditing
  • Reviewing/Supervising Work

Qualified candidates should expect to come in as a Senior Accountant. We are looking for an accountant who has excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to look at the overall client situation while not overlooking important details. Ability to work independently and effectively is critical. Supervision and review experience is helpful, but not required.  Generally, 55 hours per week will be required from January 1 to April 15 each year.

ACCOUNTANT / PARAPROFESSIONAL | ERCPA announces an opportunity for an accountant/paraprofessional in our Springfield location. It is preferred that candidates for this full-time position should have at least three years previous experience as an accountant and a four year accounting degree. This means proficient abilities in: organizing client files and following Company processes and procedures, preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, preparing bank reconciliations, processing payroll, preparing payroll tax forms, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. To be successful in this position, candidates should have strong communication and client service skills, be able to effectively multi-task and have the initiative to succeed. Proficiency and extensive experience with QuickBooks® and Microsoft Excel® are essential for this position. Salary commensurate with experience and benefits include: paid vacation, SIMPLE plan and health, life and supplemental insurance.
