Elliott, Robinson & Company, LLP is pleased to announce a merger with local accounting firm Gary Fenton, CPA, P.C. The merger comes approximately one year after ERCPA moved into their newly constructed 14,287 square feet standalone building on November 21, 2014.
Effective November 16, 2015, ERCPA merged with Gary Fenton, CPA, P.C. of Springfield, Missouri. Bob Helm, Managing Partner at ERCPA stated, “After 40 years in the Plaza Towers, our substantial growth in recent years combined with moving into a newly constructed building one year ago strategically positioned our firm to collaborate with other local accounting firms. Our merger with Gary Fenton, CPA, P.C. will further strengthen and expand our tax and business practices. Gary’s team of professionals are not only experts in their areas of specialization but are personable and passionate. That’s exactly the culture we endorse with our professionals so we’re excited to move forward and see what the future holds.”
A 1995 accounting graduate from Missouri State University, Gary Fenton, CPA, founded his accounting firm in 2000, and has since established a portfolio specializing in tax and business services with emphasis in small business accounting and payroll.
“While I’ve established a successful accounting firm for the past fifteen years, I acknowledge the benefits for my staff and our clients to merge with another locally owned firm with over forty-two years of service to the community,” said Gary Fenton, owner of Gary Fenton, CPA, P.C. “Serving our clients with individual attention, ease of communication, and promptness in availability has branded my practice. ERCPA shares this same business philosophy of commitment to excellence and dedication to integrity so when the opportunity and timing lined up it was a matter of simply signing the paperwork. This merger enables us to broaden our existing specializations and extend ERCPA’s depth of talent and service offerings to our clients.”
