Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Paraprofessional (Springfield Location)
Elliott, Robinson & Company is announcing an opportunity for a full-charge bookkeeper in our Springfield location. Candidates for this full time position should have at least three years previous experience as a full charge bookkeeper. This means profecient abilities in: payroll, payroll taxes, monthly financial statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. To be successful in this position, candidates should: have strong communication and customer service skills, be able to effectively multi task and have initiative to succeed. Proficiency and extensive experience with QuickBooks® and Microsoft Excel® are essential for this position.
Experienced Accountant (Springfield Location)
Elliott, Robinson & Company is pleased to announce an upcoming opportunity for a full-time, licensed CPA. Candidates for this position should have 3-5 years of public accounting experience in any of the following areas:
Individual/Corporate Tax Preparation
Trust & Estate Tax
Financial, Governmental or 401k Auditing
Qualified candidates should expect to come in as a Senior Accountant in May or June 2013. We are looking for an accountant who has excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to look at the overall client situation while not overlooking important details. Ability to work independently and effectively is critical. Supervision and review experience is helpful, but not required. Hours in excess of 55 per week will be required from January 1 to April 15 of each year.
