Art Exhibit featuring Artist Ann Marie Rausch
We’re thrilled to feature art from Ann Marie Rausch from September thru December! Ann Marie is most known for her hand painted furniture, but about 2 years ago began to paint on canvas as well. She is a colorist, so her artwork reveals bold, bright colors and very graphic. View her website and discover her hand painted furniture.
Artist Statement: I grew up in Springfield, Missouri and then left to attend Kansas State University where I graduated with a BA in Architecture and Design. I had an 18-year career in architecture before retiring to start a family.
I started pursuing a full time career in art as my family grew up. While trying to get my watercolor illustrations published in children books, I discovered acrylics, furniture and wall murals. I love creating original artworks that are bright, colorful and useable. I love being challenged to create commission pieces for my clients.
I live with my husband George, and our two sons, Andrew and John, on a blueberry farm in Monett, Missouri.
