Art Exhibit featuring Janelle Patterson
The ERCPA Gallery is excited to exhibit the works of local artist Janelle Patterson from May 2018 thru August 2018 showcasing her “Placenalities” series as well as her newest series of floral paintings. Prints and originals are currently available for “Placenalities” and originals only for the florals.

ARTIST STATEMENT | Janelle Patterson grew up in Marshfield, Missouri. She began cultivating her artistic abilities as a child by drawing cartoon characters in a sketchbook and and selling craft projects. By the time she graduated high school, she had already developed her natural talent for drawing, painting, and photography.
Janelle went on to get a Masters in Art Education at the University of Missouri- Columbia where she further developed the artistic disciplines she learned, while specializing in fiber arts. During this time, she was featured in several shows for fiber arts and photography.
Upon completing her Master’s degree, Janelle moved back to the Springfield area and taught high school and elementary art for four four years before opting to focus on her children and selling artwork.
Today, Janelle is best known for hand painted drink ware. Her portfolio and show pieces include photography, mixed media fiber pieces, acrylic canvas paintings.
Janelle now lives in Springfield with her husband, Jay and their two children, Fox and Daisy. To view her artwork or to inquire about commissioned pieces, go to Janelle Patterson Art.
